How we work

Five steps, a fixed price and a project you can watch: how FIC runs every engagement.

Every project follows the same five steps and runs in your own Client Workspace. You always know whose move it is, what is due, and what has been delivered.

How we work

Five steps. You always know whose move it is.

  1. 01AgreeWe agree the question, the scope and a fixed price in writing.
  2. 02Your workspaceYour Client Workspace opens: brief, uploads and every step in one place.
  3. 03We deliverYou see each stage start and finish, with the date it is due.
  4. 04You acceptDeliverables arrive in the workspace; you accept or ask for changes.
  5. 05Keep it currentOptional monthly care keeps dashboards and reports up to date.

Every step has an owner, a date and a check

Behind every project is a plan of steps, each with an owner (you or us), a number of days, and what it produces. Our project office checks each step: late steps are flagged, uploads are reviewed, and nothing closes before you have reviewed the delivery.

Every step has an owner, a date and a check.

Project office

A project office watches every step.

  1. 01OverdueAny step past its due date, flagged for follow-up.
  2. 02Due To StartSteps whose start date has arrived, so work begins on time.
  3. 03Waiting For ClientSteps that are yours: the workspace shows what is needed and by when, and reminds you.
  4. 04Awaiting AcceptanceDelivered work waiting for your review: accept it or ask for changes.
  5. 05CompletedAccepted and closed, with the full history kept.
  • An owner for every step: you or us
  • A date for every step, visible to you
  • A check before anything is closed

What you can see

  • Every stage: started, in progress, done, with the date it is due.
  • Your actions: the brief, uploads and approvals waiting for you, at the top of the page.
  • Deliverables: reports, dashboards and files, each in its stage, ready to download.
  • History: who did what and when, from the order to your acceptance.

Fixed price, agreed before we start

Every service has published options with fixed prices, shown excluding and including VAT. We confirm the scope in writing before you order. If something outside the scope comes up, we say so and quote it separately; the agreed price does not move.

Acceptance

When the work is delivered you review it in the workspace and either accept it or ask for changes. The project closes when you accept it, or 14 days after delivery if you have not asked for changes; we remind you before then.

Your data

Files you upload are kept in your private workspace, used only for your project and deleted on request. We are happy to sign your NDA before you send anything.

After delivery

Dashboards and reports need looking after. The Care Plan keeps them refreshed and working; Managed Insights adds a monthly note on what changed. Both are optional and month to month after the first three months.
